About the initiative

Through the Hernia Heroes initiative, EHS helps fund vital surgical programmes in underserved regions. Your participation contributes directly to these ongoing efforts:

• Hernia International is delivering autoclaves and training at Gbarpolu Hospital in Liberia, helping to reduce mortality from untreated hernias.
• Med Surg Support is providing laparoscopic equipment and expertise to Gondar Hospital in Ethiopia, expanding access to minimally invasive surgery.
• Operation Hernia continues to supply hospitals in Ghana and Nigeria with the tools and training for essential, life-changing procedures.
